Honors Contract Fall'23
As part of the Honors College I decided to do an honors contract in my Typography I course. The idea started when we chose an Amendment from the Constitution and a women's issue to design a poster using only type to advocate, educate or inform the public on women's rights. As an international student I have noticed the many challenges immigrants face every day. From the start of the journey, which can go back to their parents and grandparents having to leave their birth country, to discrimination, racism, domestic violence and human trafficking. The goal of this project is to educate, inform, and raise awareness on the many challenges that immigrants face every day.

The poster includes a qr code which leads to a google forms with the following questions:
1. Use one word to describe yourself as an immigrant
2. What did you leave behind when you came here? (ex. Family, children, their country)
3.What is your American dream?
4. Share one challenge you've faced as an immigrant.
5. Share one success you've faced as an immigrant.

This was an anonymous survey. Students also had the opportunity to visit the Multicultural Center to write their answers on paper.
